Panasonic AJ-HD1700 DVCPROHD VTR (more pictures at bottom) The AJ-HD1700P is Panasonic's flagship master studio DVCPRO HD-EX VTR, capable of using the HD-LP format to record over 2 hours of high definition footage using AJ-HP126EX XL tape. Great for broadcasting, cinema, or computer graphics work. Recording formats include 1080/60i, 1080/59.94i, 1080/50i, 720/60p, and 720/59.94. Allows direct playback of 720/24fps VariCam-recorded tapes, converting them to 1080/24p for editing or dubbing. Can also play back and upconvert SD formats DVCPRO, DVCPRO P (480p), DVCPRO50, DV, and DVCAM. Other features include PAL/NTSC compatibility and 100-240V power for world-wide use, eight channels of digital audio, 100x shuttle/jog, LCD monitor on front panel, high precision editing, time code generator/reader, and HD-SDI and SD-SDI interfaces. This is in excellent working order with moderate original hours of use: operation 4690, drum 1472, tape 518, thread 6201ct. This includes the AJ-UC1700 format converter option which activates features such as SD-SDI input and upconversion. Even includes a hard flight case w/ casters, so it will arrive safe and sound at your location (case not pictured). Q. What happens if the gear arrives with shipping damage? A. The Broadcast Baron takes meticulous care in packaging the items it ships and each item will be fully insured. However, in the unlikely event that shipping damage does occur, you will not be held financially responsible. The item will either be refunded, replaced, or repaired at our discretion. Regardless of whether the shipping company eventually pays us or not on the insurance claim, we honor the 30 day warranty. The only stipulation is that you must fully cooperate with the insurance claim and save all the original packaging. Otherwise, warranty is void for shipping damage issues. Q. Do you sell to international buyers? A. Yes, but not every item we sell can ship to every country. Due to ebay's new paperless payment rule, the only payment method we are currently allowed to accept is paypal. Q. How much is dosmetic shipping? A. Free shipping (including insurance) via FEDEX ground is included in the purchase price to any of the 48 states. It may turn out that your item, once packaged, is too large to use USPS service. Also, some items are too valuable to be able to be fully insured by USPS (also this varies by country). If this is the case, you will be given the option to use FEDEX instead and given an appropriate quote for FEDEX international costs. You are also welcome to use any international shipping company of your choice, so long as you pay actual costs for that service. International shipping prices vary greatly depending on your location. You must fill out tax form 6378 to receive the sales tax discount. The equipment, and the nature of your business, must be predominantly related to post-production. Production equipment does not qualify. EX: Your rate would be 3.00% if I delivered to Los Angeles county (which is normally 8.25%). 4) If you're in CA and don't qualify for the teleproduction partial exemption (i.e. you are a corporate user, hobbyist, rental company, this is production equipment, etc): must pay full district rate of the county item is delivered to or picked up from.
